Yes TEKSTartist 2013 Marker/prints 6 Days Project Description: Students will design several thumbnail sketches of their name using multiple text sources for inspiration. The letters must be connected. They will select one design and draw it on their final paper. Then they will complete a worksheet about the elements and principles of art, assigning one of each to each letter in their name. They will use this planning sheet to fill in each letter with a material of his or her choice, with a minimum of 3 different materials. They will outline their name with sharpie and possibly cut it out and mount it to black construction paper. If they prefer, they may design a background instead of cutting it out. How can I advertise myself? What do I see in my culture that influences me?
